Breaking ground sooner than expected

We stopped by the model on Saturday and our SR told us something surprising. It looks like they're looking to conduct pre-construction meeting sooner than she expected, she's looking at mid-month September. When we last talked to her it was going to happen October so that was a unexpected but really good news. She'll be reaching out to us this week to schedule the meeting.



It looks like we really have to accelerate getting inspection quotes. So far we've reached out to EstatePro (thanks Eboni!) unfortunately they only do VA and DC but the owner was kind enough to recommend another inspector who services Greenbelt called ProTec Inspections who provided us with a quote same day we requested. We also reached out Greg Kemp (thanks LNT!) and he provided a quote same day. So far we've gotten quotes between $275 to $550 each for pre-drywall and final walk through depending on whatever package we pick. Our realtor will be sending us more recommendations so we're going to solicit more quotes. We still have time to figure out who to pick but it's better to start researching earlier than later.
