Where has the time gone? Hubby and I have been really busy with work, me especially with busy proposal season and tons of training but now that everything has slowed down that I can post some updates.
It seems just yesterday that we posted that they broke ground but as of Saturday, 10/10, they have framed the first floor! Ryan, our PM, advised that we're looking to be ready for pre-drywall inspection around the end of November and closing sometime around February. We're excited but we'll have to make decision on inspector soon and start researching movers, our to-do list is getting longer and time is getting shorter.

I love that the view out the front door & living room is trees! We would have really loved that, but to select a different block meant a later closing date, so that's how we ended up where we did. We're still happy, but trees would have been super nice. :)
ReplyDeleteThe view was definitely one of the reasons why we chose this location along with timing. We also thought of waiting until the block in front of the future park would work but we didn't want to wait that long.
DeleteI'm probably just as excited as you guys are! As I stated before, we first looked at building on of these because it offered a screened porch in the community. And I hate bugs...so this was a huge win! Yours will be the first one I see fully developed. The community we looked in was JUST getting started so we walked through framing. It's so different when you see it with actual walls! Thank you so much for sharing your journey!!!
