We meet with Wayne of Guardian last Thursday and it was very fast and easy. He emailed us the wiring and security options before the meeting and we drew exactly where we wanted all the cable, phone, data, and etc. connections so our meeting could be productive and not drawn out. Below are the items we selected.
We didn't go all out with the electrical and wiring selections but did choose a few upgrades.
We decided to upgrade to the "Smart Connections" package which includes the 42" SmartBox, 1 multimedia outlet connection, and 5 cable, phone or cat5 data outlets because with all our wireless devices and the intent to buy smart tvs we figured this package will make sure internet connection is fast and no buffering. There's nothing worst than having to wait for the buffering to end so I can finish watching the next episode of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt".
We also added wall mounted tv pre-wires with built in HDMI wiring in the family and living rooms. We didn't want to deal with wires all over the place or having to pay someone later to mount our tvs.
Aside from the fun stuff, we also got a security package that includes fire and carbon monoxide monitoring. We mentioned to Wayne that we have a dog so he gave us pet motion sensor for free (it normally costs $235).
With finishing selection from Guardian, our next step will to meet with Marlayna, our SR, to do the "Finalization" session which is scheduled for this Saturday.
